EXPOSURE GALLERY is truly a unique venue located downtown historic Nevada City, which specializes in the fine art of photography. The gallery features work from owner and photographer Shannon Perry, and works from additional local photographers. Exhibitions are currently slated for 2007 featuring national photographers.

With no formal training to tell about, Jerianne Van Dijk started the long road as a graphic artist in a button factory. After years with ad agencies, newspapers, and freelance work for several printing establishments, she realized the real joy in art was to create pictures, be it fine art, whimsical, or illustration. Her favorite mediums include watercolor, gouache, ink, pastels, and some oil. You can find Jerianne's work on display at Vigils Collection in downtown Nevada City.

Since opening in 2001, Julie Baker Fine Art has focused on exhibiting the work of emerging artists from across the country with a growing emphasis on artists from California. The gallery's mission is to expand the audience for contemporary art by presenting work outside of the mainstream in a non-intimidating, educational atmosphere while competing on the international level by participating in quality art fairs and working in collaboration with galleries and museums. Works are exhibited in a charming and elegant space in historic downtown Nevada City.

John Mowen and Steve Solinsky's art is a high point of the gallery, along with 80 other regional and national artists. Nevada City is proud of this large scale, welcoming fine art gallery.
